Cube-Tec IBC 2026 Review

The IBC in Amsterdam once again brought people together to discuss ideas and technologies, which shape the future of media.
For Cube-Tec it was a great opportunity to showcase and demonstrate our solutions in action, while meeting customers and partners from around the world.
At a large event like the IBC Show, we ask ourselves:
What makes people stop at a trade show full of screen?
At IBC 2026, one answer was surprisingly simple: seeing real technology in action!
Once again, this year the INSPECTIONscan film table at the Cube-Tec stand in Hall 7 quickly became a real eye-catcher: visitors were able to watch live as analogue cinema film was scanned and inspected, whilst the content appeared simultaneously on the scanner’s display. This dynamic demonstration repeatedly prompted passers-by to stop, take a closer look and strike up a conversation with our team.
Over the four days of the IBC Show, a single INSPECTIONscan digitised a total of around 40,000 metres of film in front of the audience. This involved capturing more than 2 million individual frames from the 35mm film reels brought along.
It was good to meet customers and friends from all over the world again in Amsterdam. The IBC show is always a great opportunity to meet partners and visitors from across the media and broadcasting industry.
Many thanks to everyone who visited our IBC stand and took the time to exchange ideas with us. We look forward to continuing these discussions and seeing you again soon!
