Capturing Station

The QUADRIGAAudio Capturing Station was designed in response to requests from many QUADRIGAAudio users for a smaller scale and cost-effective platform, exclusively dedicated to the task of real-time audio capturing.

The Capturing Station is based on a Dell workstation.

Since "post capture" audio processing would be done on a bigger AudioCube or QUADRIGAAudio system - usually on the same network - the Capturing Station platform has not been designed to support VPIs or an audio editor such as Steinberg WaveLab.

The Capturing Station consists of the heart of QUADRIGAAudio: an Import-Module of your choice, including Digital Error Checker, plus the BatchProcessor.

So the Capturing Station can be used to capture audio from real-time sources like tape machines and securely pass the recorded material either directly to the mass storage system or to an additional editing system for further processing.
