QUADRIGA Audio InputCycler

The Audio InputCycler is the latest addition to QUADRIGA 3.5's optional features. It provides automated cyclic switching of all audio input streams one after another, and therefore supports the multi-module ingest operator in keeping an eye (or better: an ear) on the various input signals, maybe while doing something else in the same room.

The InputCycler uses an alternate output channel pair, so the operator can easily switch between the regular QUADRIGA monitoring signal (offering full manual control) or the InputCycler signal at the touch of a single button. When the InputCycler is active, a voice announces the module number that's currently being monitored and then switches to the next module after a few seconds.

Parameters of the InputCycler allow setting the output channel pair, the monitoring duration until switching to the next module, and whether you want to have a male or female English voice announcing the module numbers. You can even record your own announcement samples and use these, so that your operators feel like being at home.

The QUADRIGA InputCycler is a big help for certain ingest projects done with multiple parallel ImportModules, when it's most important to have a cyclic check about what kind of signal currently comes in on any given module, or if there's signal at all.
