LFE Merger

LFE Merger performs the inverse function of the LFE Divider.

If the LFE channel is not required in a mix, it can be merged to the full-range channels. "Frequency", "Mix" and "Level" controls are used to control the amount of low frequency information that is added to the full-range channels. Phase cancellation and nasty resonances can be controlled by the use of a short delay and a specially designed equalizer for the low frequency signal.

A unique high-resolution real-time display provides an intuitive insight into the lower frequency information of the LFE signal. Spotting resonances created by multi-channel summing is simplified. Both the LFE Divider and LFE Merger have this display facility in addition to the "Audition" function.
