Surround VPI's  -  EQ Eight

EQ Eight is an eight-channel version of the popular stereo mastering equalizer analogEQ .

The surround version boasts expanded facilities and enhanced functionality. The number of bands has been increased to eight; four fully parametric bands plus variable high and low shelving and high and low cut, each with selectable slope - all the power and flexibility to hone a carefully balanced sound. EQ Eight is painstakingly modeled after the characteristics of the top mastering equalizers in the world.

The surround version supplants that analog heritage with valve emulation. The "Drive" parameter controls the amount of the tube effect, allowing the mastering engineer control over the rich blend of harmonics generated by the instrument.

Rich, discrete analog emulation combined with that warm "tube" sound, in a 64-bit floating-point digital domain will make the new EQ Eight a favorite in the mastering engineer's arsenal of tools.
