Surround VPI's  -  Compression Eight

Compression Eight is an eight-channel compressor with all of the standard compressor parameters; "Threshold", "Ratio", "Attack" and "Release" as well as "Input" and "Output" gain. "Side-Chain" allows for the response of the compressor to be frequency sensitive - a pre-requisite for a professional mastering Compressor.

'Grouped' channels use identical settings; the processing is linked within a group and compression is dependant on the level of all channels in the group. If the gain of one channel exceeds the dialed threshold, the signal of all other channels in this group will be compressed. You can also easily link all channels -- allowing full parameter control without loosing the carefully adjusted balance of your surround ambience.
