Surround VPI's  -  Ambience Eight

Ambience Eight is an eight-channel digital reverb with numerous parameters to precisely tailor a multi-channel ambient soundscape for any recording.

The input section has similar facilities to a mixing console channel input. "Input Level", "Pre-Delay", "Low Frequency Damping", "High Frequency Damping", and "Output Level" are available individually for each of the eight inputs. This allows separate pre-treatment of the surround channels and the LFE from the L, C, R signals. The reverberation parameters include "Input Level", "Pre-Delay", "Room Size", "Diffusion", "Color", "High Frequency Damping", "Low Frequency Damping", and "Mix".

Ambience Eight provides a flexible reverberation system suitable for a wide range of musical styles - from classical to pop.
