Multi-Machine

Controlling up to eight playback machines
Synchronized capturing from up to eight audio source devices, in parallel, on a single QUADRIGA system. Work with up to eight Import-Modules simultaneously, regardless of the type of devices that are connected. In the film you see an example recording 2 x Compact Cassettes (Tascam 122 MKII), 2 x R-DAT (Sony PCM 7040) and 4 x quarter inch tapes (Studer A820) tape machines connected to a single QUADRIGA workstation.

Multi-Channel

Recording mono, stereo or up to eight tracks per module
Ingest from any kind of source machine, be it mono, stereo or multi-channel devices (up to eight recording channels are available per Import-Module). Connect mono phonographs, stereo tapes, 4-track cassettes or digital 8-track recorders. The film shows a mono recording from an EMT 950 turntable player, second part of the film shows a stereo recording from a Studer A820 and a 4-track recording from a semi-professional Yamaha 4-track cassette recorder.
Multi-Speed

Recording from half-speed up to quad speed
Record 78's shellac discs at half-speed with 39rpm (detuned 45rpm speed), or record analog tapes/ cassettes in faster-than-realtime. Anything up to 4x speed is possible, all including accurate playback equalization and pitch-correction. The film shows two recording sessions, first a 45rpm-speed recording of an 78rpm shellac disc and second a compact cassette ingest in double speed. In the QUADRIGA Read-after-Write mode Multi-Speed gives you on-the-fly correction for listening (this can be activated with Play button). All this can happen without affecting the recording of other active audio streams. (Btw. an ingest with 8x speed using special cassette duplication hardware is also supported)
Dual-Direction

Recording forward and back track in a single step
Media such as 2-track mono tapes or compact cassettes, which have two different audio streams running in opposite / reverse directions, can be ingested in one single step without having to flip the tape, using QUADRIGA's Dual-Direction mode (e.g. playing back 2-track mono tapes on a stereo tape machine, or standard stereo compact cassettes on a 4-track cassette deck). Apart from correcting the reverse-recorded channels in the resulting audio files, this also allows listening to a reverse-corrected monitoring signal - on the fly, in real-time during the capturing process! The film shows a mono half-track analog tape recording, being ingested simultaneously with a stereo tape machine (one channel playing back forwardand one channel backwards).
Multi-Connection

Integrating QUADRIGA into Cube-Workflow or any open Asset Management System
Cube-Workflow is a job and content management database for workgroups. It can function as the heart of every Cube-Tec Archiving System, managing complex archiving, restoration and conversion jobs. It can also be used as a connecting link between existing Asset Management Systems and Cube-Tec archiving software. Cube-Workflow is capable of supervising and tracing every scheduled job. The film shows first of all an example database with different record sets. After that an external database is selected and the data gets imported. By using a QUADRIGA dialog the data gets imported into QUADRIGA itself. The last scene shows a result page of a database search.
