QUADRIGA Audio Analysis  |  Audiofile-Inspector

The QUADRIGA Audiofile-Inspector is an optional component for the QUADRIGA Import-Modules, providing real-time analysis of the captured audio during recording. It automatically produces detailed error reports and statistical information regarding the audio quality of the archived file.

The Audiofile-Inspector includes the functionality of the Digital Error Checker and furthermore provides information on:

• Start / End of Modulation, Signal Pauses
• Analog Distortion, Clicks, Dropouts, Hum
• Stereo / Mono Program, Speech / Music Content
• Signal-to-Noise Ratio, Bandwidth, DC-Offset
• Dynamic, Peaks, Average Level
• Stereo Balance, Correlation, Azimuth Errors

Thus the Audiofile-Inspector combines both, single error detection and extraction of statistical parameters, providing precise information on the recording's audio quality.

Each type of error or statistical event can be activated for the detection individually, and various parameters allow for custom configurations that can be stored in presets (e.g. for different types of media). The collected information becomes part of the recorded file's metadata, which can be stored within the BWF file structure or exported in an XML format for database exchange.
