Vocal Alignment Library

Lip-sync vocal alignment is a great time saver for ADR, voice-overs and synchronization purposes in professional Post Production.

The use of standard time stretch algorithms often leads to misaligned sync points. The natural flow of the speech will disappear and the audience will notice that voice and picture do not match.

Our library offers automatic synchronization to the original file which is due to be replaced by the voice-over. Also, if the original could not be used the library can be triggered by setting sync points (e.g. mouth opens – mouth shuts) and ‘don’t care’ regions (mouth not visible).

The integration in any audio or video application is very easy. Our library does not require any user interface for the automatic mode, though it might be desirable for convenient handling.
