Many consumer-oriented video applications offer the benefit of digitizing VHS cassettes and write the content to DVD. Movies captured from VHS tapes often lack clarity and are spoiled by noise and other artefacts which should be eliminated before creating the content for the DVD.

Our Video Restoration library provides 9 sophisticated algorithms for the restoration of video footage:

The library is realized as a Microsoft’s DirectX 9.x filter and as such integrates nicely into any application which provides a proper interface. Accepted video formats would be either YUV or RGB.
