What do you need to run DOBBIN?

DOBBIN is fully scaleable and can be configured to meet your specific needs. You can start with the most basic DOBBIN package - the Basic Package, running on a single PC, and if you require more processing power or additional features, the system can be upgraded accordingly. A second external WorkUnit on a second PC can virtually double your processing power. If you need more, additional WorkUnits can be added quite easily, and theoretically there is no limit in the number of WorkUnits that can be connected, provided a fast Gigabit network and a fast Fileserver are part of your DOBBIN system.

Hardware Requirements for the Basic Package

• Dual Processor or Dual Core Processor with at least 3.0 GHz
• 1 GB RAM
• Harddisk drive with at least 100 GB
• CD drive for installation and updates
• If additional WorkUnits are used - GigaBit network card for each WorkUnit

 

Hardware Requirements for additional WorkUnits

• Single, Dual Processor or Dual Core, or even Multiprocessor server systems with at least 3.0 GHz
• 1 GB RAM
• Hard drive with at least 100 GB
• CD drive for installation and updates
• GigaBit network card for connection to ControlUnit
