The next hardware expansion step is to use a redundant ControlUnit design. The second ControlUnit provides complete redundancy preventing time delays in the event of a hardware failure.

To run two ControlUnits in a Cluster, both have to be operated with Windows Advanced Server Edition 2000 or 2003.
