DDP-Solution 3.0

Several new features have been added to the current version of DDP-Solution 3.0 as part of our ongoing development to keep the DDP-Solution software at the highest possible level of performance and excellence. These include:

• The embedding of CD-Text into the ddp map stream. This means that in the case of the tape driver, the CD-TEXT file is written directly to the tape. This is allowed only for DDP Level 2.0 or higher, for DDP Level 1.0, the "old" logic is reactivated (external CDTEXT.BIN file is written). When importing DDP tapes, such embedded CD-TEXT streams are also supported.
• Integration of Eclipse ImageIntegrity Checksum. (also listed in the log file)
• The ability to process Split images.
• the DDP-Solution driver now writes the exact count of CD frames to the image file (i.e. no padding is performed for the file I/O driver). The tape driver still pads the last tapeblock, but the checksums are calculated only for the exact count of frames.
• Layout of the CRC file is done according to Eclipse standard. This way the DDP-Solution is backward compatible to older eclipse systems, which do not recognize CD-Text files.
